This is an unreviewed draft. It describes how the platform is built and intended to operate, but it has not been checked by a lawyer and the operating entity is not yet established. Do not rely on it.
What we collect
If you create a dancer profile, we collect the details you type into it: your name, the city and region you train in, your school or company, how long you have trained, what you are working toward, and the story you write. We also collect your email address and a password, which is stored hashed and never in readable form.
If you sponsor a dancer, your payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. They never pass through our servers and we never see your card number.
What we publish
A dancer profile is public once it has been reviewed and published, and not before. Until then it is visible only to you and to the people who review it.
We never publish your email address, your phone number, your home address, your precise location, or your training schedule. Location is shown at city level and no finer.
Who can see what
- Anyone can see a published profile.
- You can see and edit your own profile at any stage.
- Staff can see every profile in order to review it.
- No dancer can see or edit another dancer’s profile.
This is enforced in the database itself rather than only in the interface.
Age
Registration is limited to people aged 18 or over. We ask you to confirm this when you join.
Who we share it with
We use Supabase to store data and handle sign-in, Stripe to process payments, and Vercel to host the site. Each of these processes data on our behalf in order to make the service work. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Deleting your account
Write to us and a person will remove your profile and your account. Self service deletion is not built yet.
